Frustration

I am working towards completing my doctoral studies at the University of Phoenix Online. I am enjoying the program and am thankful for learning all about the whole process of working on my dissertation. However, tonight, I am frustrated beyond belief because the whole school website is down so I am unable to complete any of my work for my research course. This is so upsetting to me. Plus, my Internet connection from Comcast which I pay along with my cable bill a whopping $180.00 dollars a month is acting up; losing connection every few minutes. I love technology but when times like this happen it makes me furious when technology fails. I just wanted to vent some frustration about my situation. 

Noree's Gift From Wizards Contest!


Hello all of my fellow collectors! I have something interesting and want to share with you all. We at Junior's Cave are helping one lucky person's collection grow. "How" you ask? Well, we're holding a contest and the winner gets a $25 dollar gift card from Wizard's Universe. Here's how it works: Each person who enters have to take a picture of at least two and no more than 10 of their figures/toys and set them up in a theme. The theme can be anything as long as in doesn't contain anything inappropriate. Give at least a two sentence long description of the theme. Then send it to me at noreeleggett@juniorscave.com with the subject "contest entry" using the email address you wish to have the prize sent to.

It will then be judged by me and three other columnists from Junior's Cave. Each person can only enter once. The person with the best theme will be notified on the 31st of December. Sounds easy enough right? Well get cracking, pull out those cameras and start sending those pictures.

The winner of the contest will be announced on January 05, 2009 via email and on this forum.

In further news, we will announce our next contest in January 2009; so stay tune for more chances to win cash and prizes at Junior's Cave's Collectibles Page.

I am wishing all my friends and family a wonderful Thanksgivng Day today-- I am thankful for life and health. I am also thankful for the things God has given to me.  I hope that 2009 will continue to show me and my family and friends wonderful things. Here's to a wonderful life!

NATION ELECTS FIRST BLACK PRESIDENT

This is a historic moment in America's history. I am so glad to be alive to witness this event. I am also happy that my grandparents who are in their late 80's (born 1919 (grandfather) and 1925 (grandmother) are both alive to have seen a Black Man named President Elect in this country. We have come a long ways as a Nation and I feel that this change that President Elect Obama is talking about is only the beginning.

PLEASE VOTE EVERYONE!
